React Native Community CLI contiene una vulnerabilidad de inyección de comandos del sistema operativo que podría permitir a atacantes de red no autenticados enviar solicitudes POST al Metro Development Server y ejecutar archivos ejecutables arbitrarios a través de un endpoint vulnerable expuesto por el servidor. En Windows, los atacantes también pueden ejecutar comandos de shell arbitrarios con argumentos totalmente controlados.

Aplicar las mitigaciones del fabricante y, en servicios en la nube, seguir las recomendaciones de seguridad del proveedor; si no hay mitigaciones disponibles, discontinuar el uso del producto.

React Native Community CLI OS Command Injection Vulnerability
React Native Community CLI contains an OS command injection vulnerability which could allow unauthenticated network attackers to send POST requests to the Metro Development Server and run arbitrary executables via a vulnerable endpoint exposed by the server. On Windows, attackers can also execute arbitrary shell commands with fully controlled arguments.
Required action: Apply mitigations per vendor instructions, follow applicable BOD 22-01 guidance for cloud services, or discontinue use of the product if mitigations are unavailable.
